AiFoodNews Terms of Service – Cooking with AI, Fairly
Welcome to AiFoodNews, your AI‑powered kitchen assistant.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the rules of our digital kitchen: how you can use AiFoodNews, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
By creating an account or using AiFoodNews, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use AiFoodNews
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your place of residence.
- If you are a minor, you should use AiFoodNews only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for your use of the service.
- You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, you should notify us as soon as possible.
2. What you can do with AiFoodNews
AiFoodNews is built to help you cook better, not to cause harm. When using the service, you agree to:
- Use AiFoodNews only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Use generated recipes, images and other outputs responsibly – for example, to cook at home, to inspire your own creations, or to share in good faith with others.
- Respect other people’s rights, including privacy, image rights, and intellectual‑property rights.
You must not:
- Use AiFoodNews to generate, upload or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, extremely violent, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful.
- Use the service to spread misinformation, fraud, spam or scams (for example, fake restaurant menus, misleading product photos, or made‑up health claims).
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise tamper with the software, models or systems that power AiFoodNews.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits, security measures or payment systems.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or terminate your access.
3. Your content and AI‑generated content
3.1 Content you provide
“Your Content” includes:
- prompts and text you type,
- images you upload, and
- anything you post or share in the community (recipes, comments, photos, etc.).
You keep any rights you already have in Your Content. You are responsible for making sure Your Content:
- is legal in your country;
- does not infringe the rights of others (for example, copyright, trademarks, privacy or image rights);
- does not contain sensitive personal information about you or others unless strictly necessary.
You grant AiFoodNews a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, process, display and use Your Content only as needed to:
- provide and improve the service, and
- operate community features you choose to use (for example, showing your shared recipes to other users).
You can usually remove Your Content from public areas at any time; this does not affect limited technical copies kept for backups, logs or legal reasons.
3.2 AI‑generated content
“AI‑Generated Content” includes recipes, images, menus, shopping lists, text and other outputs produced by AiFoodNews based on your inputs.
Subject to applicable law and these Terms:
- You may use AI‑Generated Content for personal and commercial cooking‑related purposes (for example: posting your AiFoodNews‑assisted recipe on social media, printing it for a restaurant menu, or using images on your food blog), as long as you comply with any third‑party rights and applicable regulations.
- You should not claim that AI‑Generated Content is created only by a human chef if this would be misleading in a context where disclosure matters (for example, some jurisdictions or platforms may require disclosure that AI was involved).
- AiFoodNews may generate similar or overlapping content for other users, because many people may ask for similar dishes (e.g. “spicy Sichuan hotpot for two”). You do not receive exclusive rights to generic ideas, concepts or styles.
AiFoodNews and its licensors retain all rights in the underlying software, models and systems that generate the content.
4. Payments, subscriptions and credits
Some AiFoodNews features are free; others require a paid subscription or credits.
- Prices, plans and credit bundles are shown on our pricing pages before you pay (for example, “Weekend Hotpot Pack” or “Busy Weeknight Plan”).
- By purchasing a plan or credits, you authorize us (and our payment providers) to charge your chosen payment method.
- Unless our Payments & Refunds Policy explicitly says otherwise, fees and used credits are non‑refundable. In some cases we may offer refunds or extensions when there are serious technical problems on our side.
- We may change prices, plans or credit structures in the future. Any changes will apply going forward; if we materially change an existing recurring plan, we will inform you in advance when required by law.
Your continued use of paid features after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new prices or terms.
5. Intellectual property
5.1 Our technology and brand
AiFoodNews – including its software, models, algorithms, website design, text, graphics, logos, and other assets – is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
We (and our licensors) retain all rights, title and interest in and to the AiFoodNews service.
You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease or create derivative works of the AiFoodNews code or models;
- use our trademarks or branding in a way that suggests you are AiFoodNews or that we endorse you, without our written permission.
5.2 Your recipes, photos and posts
As described above, you keep ownership of Your Content (including your original photos and recipe text) and grant us a limited license to use it to run and improve the service.
If you choose to share recipes or images publicly in the community, other users may view, save or adapt them in line with normal social‑sharing expectations. If you later remove a public post, future use by others may still continue where they already have a copy (for example, if they saved or printed it).
6. Disclaimers – AI is a helper, not a human chef or doctor
AiFoodNews is a creative assistant, not a professional chef, nutritionist or doctor.
By using the service, you understand and agree that:
-
Recipes and images are suggestions.
- Cooking times, ingredient amounts and difficulty may vary depending on your equipment, ingredients and skills.
- You are responsible for checking taste, doneness and food safety (for example, avoiding undercooked meat or spoiled ingredients).
-
Health and nutrition information is general only.
- Any calorie counts or “healthier options” are approximations and are not medical advice.
- For specific dietary needs (allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, etc.), consult a qualified health professional.
-
We do not guarantee perfect accuracy.
- Because AiFoodNews uses AI models, outputs may sometimes be incomplete, outdated, biased or simply not to your taste.
- You use all outputs at your own risk, and we are not responsible for the results of any dish or decision based on the content generated.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiFoodNews is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
7. Service availability and changes
We work hard to keep AiFoodNews running smoothly, but:
- The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, outages or events beyond our control (for example, network failures or force‑majeure events).
- We may change, limit or discontinue certain features (for example, adding new cuisine packs or retiring rarely used tools). Where changes significantly affect paid features, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by temporary unavailability, delays or changes, to the extent allowed by law.
8. Suspension and termination
We hope you never need to leave our kitchen, but the following rules apply if things go wrong.
8.1 Your right to stop using AiFoodNews
You may stop using AiFoodNews at any time, and you may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy. Stopping use does not automatically entitle you to a refund, except where provided in our Payments & Refunds Policy or required by law.
8.2 Our right to suspend or terminate
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if:
- you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms or applicable law;
- you abuse the service, interfere with others’ use, or attempt to compromise security;
- we are required to do so by law, a court order or a competent authority.
Where reasonable, we will try to notify you of the reason and give you a chance to correct the issue.
Upon termination, your right to use AiFoodNews ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (for example, intellectual‑property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them will be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding its conflict‑of‑law rules and, for clarity, excluding the laws of Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan), unless mandatory law in your country requires otherwise.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
If we cannot resolve it amicably, either party may bring the dispute before a court of competent jurisdiction where AiFoodNews (or its operating entity) is located, unless another forum is required by applicable law.
10. Other important terms
- Entire agreement.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Payments & Refunds Policy, form the entire agreement between you and AiFoodNews regarding your use of the service, and replace any prior understandings on this subject.
- Severability.
If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in full force and effect.
- No waiver.
If we do not enforce a particular provision right away, it does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
- Updates to these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add new cooking features or when laws change. The updated version will be posted on this page and will take effect when it is published or when the law requires. If you continue using AiFoodNews after that date, you accept the updated Terms.
